According to article 192.8 of the Liechtenstein Law on Persons and Companies
(Personen- und Gesellchaftsrecht, PGR), any natural person, legal entity or
company which operates a commercially oriented business as defined by the
relevant statutes must mandate an auditing office. It is the task of the
auditing office to inspect accounts and annual financial statements for
compliance with due-diligence laws and statutes.
